DRE System Patterns

The "Distributed Real-time and Embedded Systems Patterns" hot topic at ChiliPLoP 2004 will gather expert patterns writers in the area of DRE systems, to distill a collection of DRE papers from PLoP 2002, The OOPSLA 2002 DRE Patterns Workshop, and PLoP 2003, into a book for publication in a real-time systems book series. A common pattern format for the book will be discussed and selected, and steps for refactoring the existing papers will be planned and started during the session at ChiliPLoP, with rapid completion of that refactoring to occur following ChiliPLoP.
