PLoP 2006
Shepherded Papers
Notes on Paper 24:
I was waiting for the shepherds comments to add my PC remarks to it, but I
think this paper must have
been the one that Joe Bergin referred to as being OK.
I make a clear recommendation to accept the paper "Pedagogical Patterns
from the Teachlet Laboratory" for a PLoP workshop.
The paper is well written, the author knows his material, the patterns fit
well with the overall work on pedagogical patterns,
the format is good, and the patterns are mature (good P-S pairs, good
forces, good resulting context/considerations section).
All together a paper that is short, useful and enjoyable to read.
The shepherding process went fine, good comments, paper improved during
the shepherding, the author was responsive and
was thrilled to have Joe as his shepherd (no surprise...).
Cheers,
Lise
