Notes on Paper 35: REJECTED
You are the PC member for the "Pattern-Oriented Architecture for Web
Applications" paper by Mohamed Taleb et al. Here is my shepherding
recommendation for this paper.
I recommend that the paper be rejected due to low quality and lack of
cooperation from the authors.
During the shepherding period, I received only one update from the
authors, which addressed only minor editorial issues. They did not
address any of the main problems of their paper and did not even
provide any explanation for that. I was very disappointed with the
authors' disinterest in making the paper more appropriate for PLoP. The
topic of the paper is very interesting and it had a potential for being
a great pattern language, but the final results is not satisfactory.
I'm including the updated version of the paper as an attachment.
