PLoP 2006 Shepherded Papers

Notes on Paper 42:

I read this paper about as carefully as I can given I am not an
AspectJ guy. I think several things:

* This paper is really about AspectJ and not about patterns. It's
probably more complicated than that because GoF patterns are an
important test case for AOP being useful and usable. But, the
patterns are merely fodder for understanding AspectJ's strengths and
weaknesses

* We are unlikely to have people at PLoP who can workshop this paper,
and I'm not sure we want to have a presentation of this material,
because it's really aspecty.

* The guy is from Pakistan, and I question whether he can really come to PLoP.

The paper needs a lot of work. It's hard to figure out because you
really need to be an AspectJ weenie to understand where explanations
are weak versus where one's understanding is weak.

I lean toward rejection (with an apology).
