Notes on Paper 8: ACCEPTED

This is my recommendation for pattern

--The set of patterns attacks an important and difficult problem

--The author has done a good job of including all relevant aspects and
producing detailed patterns

--He has followed my suggestions and explained his reasons when he
didn't

--I still have some doubts about some of the solutions, not all points
have been well resolved.

--This pattern requires a good of knowledge of security as well of
pattern writing and the author handled this aspect very well.

In summary, I recommend acceptance for the workshop, I think it will
produce interesting discussions. I intend to continue commenting on tha
paper until the conference.

The version I used to arrive to this conclusion is in:

Saludos,
Ed

On this paper it turns out I've not received Ed Fernandez's final recommendation. There was quite a bit of good traffic on this one where the author was responding to Ed's comments, but Ed appears to have left on a trip on July 20th and has not replied since. I've pinged him looking for a recommendation but have not yet received anything.

Kyle's summary

I really like the latest version of the paper. The patterns are general purpose, well written, and easy to understand. Extremely good use of references to other work, and the paper doesn't assume you're an expert on security -- it can be read by a novice (and I personally would like to pass this out to some of my colleagues!) Good use of pattern form, well structured language. I recommend heartily for inclusion into workshopping.
