PLoP 2014 Final Paper Submissions:Submissions Due by October 5th, 2015 Upload Proceedings Version.Papers have to follow the PDF and file
naming guidelines PDF GuidelinesIt is of particular importance that you leave sufficient space in the lower left corner of the first column on the first page if using the two column template to insert the copyright information. Please submit a camera-ready PDF version (produced on a high-resolution output device) of your paper on __letter paper size (8 1/2" x 11")__ following the proceedings format below. Proceedings templates to create camera-ready copy are available in Word, WordPerfect, and LaTex, otherwise ACM might not accept the paper for the digital library. Papers should have Type 1 fonts (scalable), not Type 3 (bit-mapped). All fonts MUST be embedded within the PDF file. Any PDF that is not deposited with fonts embedded will need to be corrected. In order to help you through this process, the ACM have created documentation on how to embed your fonts. Please download the ACM Digital Library optimal distiller settings file, ACM.joboptions. For those creating their PDF using Word's Save to PDF feature, you need to change one option to embed the fonts. On the Save to PDF dialog, click the "Options" button and check the ISO 19005-1 compliant box. Once done, be sure to check that the fonts are indeed embedded per the instructions on the ACM download file above. We are happy to announce that PLoP submissions can now accept a single column formatted paper along with the original two column format! The original two column templates are located at: http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html These can be accepted, but we also have permission to use a single column template. An example of the single column format with our copyright can be found in this PDF. Single column format Word template: Single Column Template Single column format TeX template: TeX Template.
