Everyone who plans to attend PLoP has
to register. This includes authors, non-authors, students,
staff, conference organizers and volunteers. We strongly
encourage early registration.

The fee includes:
- Conference Cost
- Room (9/08 through 9/12 -- Monday night,
Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday Night)
- Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), snacks and
- Transportation to/from Willard Airport
(CMI) in Savoy, IL
We'll also accept registrations without room at the
Allerton House. Attendees registering this way will have to
find their own accommodation and transportation.
Best Western motel in Monticello is probably the closest
place for lodging. Another hotel is Foster
Inn. Check also the Champaign-Urbana
Hotel Information for more options. In this case the fee
($800 US or $400 US for full-time students) includes
everything from above except room.
Attendees should plan to arrive on Monday September 8th,
and depart on Friday September 12th. The traditional Papa
Dell's Pizza arrival reception will be held Monday evening.
Guests who want to stay up to two extra days (Friday night
and Saturday night) can. You'll be charged individually for
lodging and any meals you choose to take. You need to notify the
Allerton front desk before Thursday, September 11. To be safe,

Registration fees will be processed upon receipt.
Cancellations may be made up until the 29th August 2003.
There is $75 cancellation fee. Refunds will be made within four
weeks of the end of the conference. There is no refund for
cancellations after the 29th August 2003.
At any time you may transfer your registration to another
person. To do this, email a confirmation note authorizing the
person to attend in your place. Both parties will be contacted
via email or phone to verify transfer of registration.
"No-shows" are not refundable and are liable for the full
registration fee. If you canít attend, and it is past the refund
date, then consider transferring your registration to another
