Everyone who plans to attend PLoP has to register. This includes authors, non-authors, students, staff, conference organizers and volunteers.

PLoP online registration will be possible till August 20, 2009.

We strongly encourage early registration for better conference service.

Registration fees will be processed upon receipt.

Conference fees

The conference fee covers conference events specific to PLoP, not events related to AGILE.

• Conference costs (Social events, PLoP 2009 Proceedings, both preliminary and final)

The Hyatt Regency Chicago is the official hotel for Agile 2009 Conference a special rate [$199/night] is being offered to all attendees of the Agile 2009 Conference. Expedia has alternative hotel deals available for the Chicago area. While these don't work for the conference hotel, they do represent more affordable alternatives. Visit the Expedia specials page, and be sure to gauge the distance from your selected hotel to the conference one.

Travel

United Airlines is the official airline of the Agile 2009 Conference. Purchase your ticket online at www.united.com and receive a 5% discount off the lowest applicable fares. After you link to www.united.com, enter your origin and destination, travel dates. Click on more search options and enter your promotion code number 584GI; then we will display the available flights. There are no fees for booking on line at www.united.com when you use the special promotion code. Code is case sensitive so please use capital letters. Discounts will be taken off the lowest applicable published fares on United Airlines. Travel period is from August 21st 31st, 2009. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations may be made up until August 15, 2009. There is a $75 cancellation fee. Refunds will be made within four weeks of the end of the conference. There is no refund for cancellations after August 15, 2009.

At any time you may transfer your registration to another person. To do this, email a confirmation note authorizing the person to attend in your place. Both parties will be contacted via email or phone to verify transfer of registration.

"No-shows" are not refundable and are liable for the full registration fee. If you can't attend, and it is past the refund date, then consider transferring your registration to another person.
