REGISTRATION

Everyone who plans to attend PLoP has to register. This includes authors, non-authors, students, staff, conference organizers and volunteers.

PLoP online registration is now open and will be available till October 1st, 2019.

We strongly encourage early registration for better room arrangements and conference service. Contact the chairs with any questions.

Registration fees

* Since there are a limited number of single rooms available, requests will be first come first served. Also, if Strathmere fills up we will use an overflow hotel and shuttle people to/from Strathmere everyday. Student registeration includes double rooms only!

Registration fees will be processed upon receipt.

Conference fees

The conference fee covers almost every expense, except room's mini-bar, phone calls and travel, and includes:

• Conference costs (Social events, most things at conference such as refreshments,
  there will occasionally be cash bar cost for attendees.)
• On-site accommodation for the conference duration (3 nights, from Monday, October 7th
  through Thursday, October 10th -- leaving on Thursday afternoon October 10th)
• All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), snacks and beverages
• Transportation to/from Ottowa Airport will be provided

We'll also accept registrations without room at the Strathmere. Attendees registering this way will have to find their own accommodation and transportation. In this case the fee for full-time students includes everything from above except accomodation.

Guests who want to stay before or after the conference will be charged individually for lodging and any meals you choose to take. If you plan to stay before or after the conference please contact the chairs.

Bootcamp fees

Bootcamp fees includes all costs for attending the bootcamp except lunch. If you plan to attend the bootcamp at Carleton University, you need to arrange for your own accommodation for Oct 6. For bootcamp attendees, transportation will be arranged to get to Strathmere from Carleton University.

Payment methods

We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards.

Participants

After registering for the conference, you will receive a confirmation email and your name will be listed in the participants list page . If you don't see your name in the list, please contact the chairs.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations may be made up until September 15th, 2019. There is a $200 cancellation fee. Refunds will be made within four weeks of the end of the conference. There is no refund for cancellations after the 1st of October 2019.

At any time you may transfer your registration to another person. To do this, email a confirmation note authorizing the person to attend in your place. Both parties will be contacted via email or phone to verify transfer of registration.

"No-shows" are not refundable and are liable for the full registration fee. If you can't attend, and it is past the refund date, then consider transferring your registration to another person.
