The Hillside Group Sponsors many different conferences such as: PLoP, EuroPLoP, Koala PLoP, Mensore PLoP, SugarLoafPLoP, UP, and ChiliPLoP.  PLoP, EuroPLoP, VikingPLoP and Mensore PLoP. These conferences focus on writing groups to better improve our patterns through group exposure. ChiliPLoP introduces newcomers to patterns, helping them understand the complexity of patterns, while teaching them to develop the pattern writing ability of the experts in the field.  These conferences offer advanced topics for the more adept writers of patterns.  SugarLoafPLoP focuses on improving the expression of patterns. You will have the opportunity to refine and extend your patterns with help from knowledgeable and sympathetic fellow patterns enthusiasts. UP (Using Patterns) is an International Conference on using patterns.

The conferences are a perfect time to network with other like minded people and are held in exciting, clean environments.  PLoP is held at Allerton Park in Monticello, Illinois and EuroPLoP is held at Kloster Irsee.   Koala PLoP is being held in Melbourne, Australia this year and ChiliPLoP in Arizona. SugarLoafPLoP will be having it's second conference this year in Rio de Janeiro and Mensore PLoP will be held in Okinawa, Japan at the Hotel Moon Beach.
